SPOILER ALERT-
Free Comic Book Day books are free because publishers and retailers would like you to come back and read more books and that normally means buying them.

I only bring that up because that's how I look at my FCBD books that I get, and I want to get you on that wavelength. So, does THIS title make you want to read more Amazing or Ultimate Anything Or Miles Neighborhood Spider-Man???

The answer is an emphatic YES! The Amazing Spider-Man portion is a direct follow up to the veerrrryyy recent ASM #1 (available at all Graham Crackers locations today, ask for it by name. It features a couple of good giggles, an adequate open ended sense of mystery, and the best JRJR Spider-Man in a panel since he's been back at Marvel.

The Miles section gives a nice overview of the past year or so, while reminding the reader that only The Maker and Miles made it out of Secret Wars. Now, The Maker has been mucking things up for nearly two years in the reborn Ultimate Universe, but someone who CAN'T turn up there is Miles Morales, cuz he's ours now. Until later in May. So, that's going to be a giant thing and you're already going to be reading it, so this fulfills the other great goal of FCBD- Getting you up to speed before a giant book.

The last little vingette here are a few pages of what can be called 'symbiote nonsense'. They don't hurt anything, they don't cost anything, and are at the end of the book.

Two stories, both would get a passing grade, then they became free so they're better than that.
