Injustice Gods Among us Year Three #5

A word of warning about this issue: the description solicited by DC is not the story presented in this book. Not the first time that's happened, but if you're looking for Wonder Woman and her coma, you'll need some drawing paper and someone to write your script. What do you get instead? The Spectre, but maybe not Jim Corrigan, Shazam, but maybe not Billy Batson, Deadman, but maybe not Boston Brand...are you sensing a pattern yet? In a world where people we know are already clearly redefining themselves as terrible, its good to know that there are plenty of mysteries left to solve here. There's more to like as well- the return of an old friend, a Constantine/Batman/Swamp Thing moment...they're all handled well by writer Tom Taylor. The art isn't great, but the storytelling in it is solid, so it will at least get you to where you want to be, and where DC wants you to be: ready for the next issue.
