BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

Some people may not like the talking heads aspect of this issue; no real villains, just the build up on what the team will be, if it is to be, at all. For me, though, Dwayne McDuffie does the necessary job on this clichéd storyline, since it fits with everything else that is occurring in the DC Universe, and it seems right. Perfectly right, to script this story now. What happens here reminds me of the efforts it takes to keep some things going, especially when it involves voluntary participation. Shane Davis does a good job on the artwork, and it’ll be nice to see where it is going. Good place for new readers to jump on board, while reading a logical, well-told story.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
