Benjamin Percy waited until his Predator crossover with Marvel's most violent character, Spider-Man, to really bring out the red sauce for the pasta.

Oh, no, no no no no, no, uh-oh...

Maybe don't eat before you read this one. Faces, ears, noses, arms, legs, torsos, shoulders, why, just about anything that could be flayed IS flayed and in graphic fashion. Marcelo Ferreira has a very clean line, which reminded me of the good parts of Joe Quesada. That makes the atrocity exhibition here are the more appalling as this is a brightly lit, swampy, New York summer day. We get to see everything, he said, hesitating to use an exclaimation point but deciding to anyway!

Our predator here isn't following the established rules we know about how they hunt. He's just a serial killer, but a predator serial killer. Imagine the Son of Sam with invisibility and projectile weapons that travel a quarter of a mile.

If you like your streets as red as Spidey's suit, good news! Highly entertaining, highly readable, highly recommended.
