While the Flash and Batman/Batwoman stories that bookend this issue are a bit too thickly inked for the art to flow well, the series of Superman pin-ups and the Brian Stelfreeze collaboration on Robin and Batgirl are gorgeously rendered. The reads are paper thin, but as the primary purpose of Solo is to showcase the art, that’s fine. Scott makes no bones about his graffiti-influenced art, and anyone who’s enjoyed his kinetic artwork over the years should pick this up. Let’s hope DC doesn’t cancel this fine series. 8 Grahams
Huh. So this one... huh. Jeez. I loved Damion Scott when he drew Batgirl, but, uh... hmm. He sort of freaked out, I guess... It's all pretty out there. Wow. Good for him, I suppose... If you're willing to subsidise him for $5 for this, then God bless. Yikes. Crazy. 4 Grahams
