Two stories in this double sized $5.99 one-shot that never should have been a one shot but instead should have been printed in the main book.
Story deals with Green Lantern Alfred and his learning to use the ring. Written by regular series author Matthew Rosenberg, it's a must read and I'm pissed that DC made this a one-shot spin-off. When I'm enjoying a MAXI SERIES EVENT and the publisher decides to do stupid little side-quests (mini-series and one shots) that spin off that event, I, like many others, tend to skip it.
Don't skip this one - it's great and fills in some much needed information to enjoy the main event. DC, next time just make the main event a bit longer rather than doing these confusing one shots.
